Tzadakah Box – Eldridge Street Shul (1887), New York City. The oldest Synagogue in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, it is renowned for its spectacular architecture. It serves a diminishing congregation due to its location in the expanding Chinatown National Historic Landmark. Thousands of tourists visit each year.
