This 91-minute documentary, narrated by Dustin Hoffman, and written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Ira Berkow, has been getting rave reviews at Jewish Film Festival showings around the country.
It includes a wonderful current interview with Sandy Koufax as well as great interviews with Kevin Youkilis, Al Rosen, and a bunch of other players and personages, plus some great baseball as well as old newsreel footgage setting the background of American Jewish life in the 20th Century.
This is a film that many of us will want to own and to give, as a perfect present for anyone interested in Baseball and the American Jewish experience.
