Tzedakah Box – Reform Temple, Wroclaw (Breslau), Poland. Built during the years1865-1872 in the Romanesque style by the Jewish Architect Edwin Oppler. Oppler designed Synagogues that looked European rather than Moorish in style, so the Jews would be identified as Europeans. The innovative style of Oppler was based on Rhenish Romanesque Architecture.
