Help the children learn that tzedakah (charity) is a central part of Jewish life. Teach them how important it is for those who need help and even more so for those who give it.
With a Tzedakah Box,( Charity Box or Pushka ) of their own a child becomes part of the giving process (even if it’s a few pennies at a time).
